Smart-ID – A new, secure and seamless way to sign documents with OK!Sign in Belgium

Digital signing in Belgium just became even more convenient. At OK!Sign, we are committed to offering fast, secure, and user‑friendly signing methods for every type of document. Today, we are excited to announce the launch of a brand‑new signing option on our platform: Smart-ID.

Smart-ID is a trusted digital identity solution widely used in the Baltics and increasingly adopted across Europe.

Recently, the Belgian Federal Public Service BOSA has awarded Smart‑ID the highest trust label for electronic identification. The Level of Assurance (LoA) “High” shows that Smart-ID meets the strictest technical and organizational criteria to prevent digital identity fraud.

Starting today, users can sign documents on OK!Sign using their Smart-ID app — with the same legal validity and security as a Qualified Electronic Signature.

Smart-ID signing is now fully available on OK!Sign for all users. If you already use Smart-ID, you can start signing immediately. If not, you can download the app and activate your identity in just a few minutes.
